New Year's Eve Istanbul

| 27th October 2015

Turkey is the gate between Europe and Asia and even though Christmas is not widely celebrated there, New Year’s Eve becomes the most anticipated event of the year. Expect amazing fireworks, parties and attractions!

Taksim Square and Istiklal Street become the most crowded where people meet together in pubs and clubs for lively celebrations. Republic Monument gets filled with all sorts of people but it might get a bit dangerous so we advise to avoid it unless you're prepared.

Fireworks appear in a few points of the city but the best view is at the Bosphorus Bridge. The most popular parties during New Year’s Eve are in the Reina Club, Gar Music Hall and Turkish Night Show or the Galata Tower Restaurant. If you prefer a more elegant experience then the 360 Restaurant is a perfect choice. Another way to get a wonderful evening is to take one of the Bosphorus cruises that provide eight hours of partying with DJs, dancing and champagne. They offer one of the best views of the fireworks. Nişantaşı or Kadıköy streets have great parties as well with DJs, laser shows and performances.

We suggest settling on one venue for the evening as traffic can get horribly packed. Have a great New Year's!
