This city is covered by a bay on the Pacific Ocean on one side and mountains on the other. West End Davie Village is one of two gay villages in Vancouver located in close proximity from the tourist attractions. Commercial Drive (often refered to as "the Drive") is the bohemian centre of the hippies, activists, artists full of affordable indie eateries and businesses. They both offer a great variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs.

Yaletown is where you'll find the fashionable and glamorous. Stylish cafes, restaurants, yoga studios, fancy condos populated with the young and aspiring. Hamilton and Mainland streets is where most of the nightlife happens in the area.

Gastown is a very old part of Vancouver that has transformed the abandoned brick warehouses into cultural hubs and now all the creative and independent business are opening there. You'll be sure to find something interesting there any time of year.

The young who want to dance the night away should head for Granville Street. From Nelson Street to Borson Street is an abundance of clubs that will satisfy anyone.
