Big Island Hawaii is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers. It will surprise anyone with its diverse landscape of lava fields, jungle, mountains and sand beaches. There are many eco-friendly venues surrounded by unspoiled nature which gives Hawaii a very environmentally friendly feel. You can’t miss the Kilauea Volcano in the Volcanoes National Park as well as the many black beaches created by lava flowing into the ocean. The main island of Hawaii has many desolate romantic spots in its many coves and inlets.

If you want to get away from society, Kauai Island is where you need to go. The least commercially developed island will make you forget about every-day problems with its most romantic and unspoiled land. We recommend going to the Na Pali coast especially for a boat ride and the Wailua River on a canoe or kayak. There are many other activities such as snorkeling or hiking but no matter which you choose to do, you will always be surrounded by beautiful waterfalls, cliffs and rainforest.

Maui is where the world famous beaches are. You’ll find never-ending stretches of golden and black sand on the western side (or leeward side) of the island. If you go to Maui, you have to take the scenic drive on the Road to Hana, which has 620 curves and 59 bridges along many waterfalls. Haleakala National Park is a great place to go to see the island’s dormant volcano. You’ll also find plenty of surfing, snorkeling and diving. There may not be a central gay scene per se but if you head to the beach you’ll find something for yourself.

The famous surfing beach, Waikiki, is on the Oahu Island. With the highest density of Hawaiian population it still has a lot to offer outside the worn out tourist route. Honolulu, the capital, has the largest LGBT scene (nightclubs, bars) and hosts the annual Honolulu Pride. Queen's Surf is a beach with a gay area close to the Barefoot Cafe.
